Our 9 Days bush to the beach will let you experience all that Northern Tanzania has to offer and Zanzibar Beach Holidays. Safari will start from Arusha to the base of Mount Meru to Manyara followed by Serengeti plains to Ngorongoro crater and conservation area to the pristine beaches of the east coast of Zanzibar. You will visit the world's most well-known sites and eyewitness animals in their natural habitat. The tour encompasses all the best that the bush and beach in Tanzania have to offer.

 Day 1 Arrival at Kilimanjaro international - JRO

Upon arrival at JRO, (Kilimanjaro international airport) you will be met by your driver /guide and taken to the hotel for dinner and overnight. This will give you a chance to rest from the flight and get ready for the safari. Arusha is the starting point for the safari.

Day 2 Drive from Arusha to lake Manyara National Park

Your safari begins. After breakfast you will be met by the driver/guide, and start your journey to Lake Manyara National Park. As you drive west across the Maasai plains towards Lake Manyara National park, a dramatic change occurs in habitat as grasslands give way to ground-water forest featuring sausage trees and strangler figs. Lake Manyara is a shallow alkaline lake, one of the many in the Rift Valley supporting vast flocks of flamingo. Arrive for an afternoon game drive. After a good amount of time spent in the park you will be taken to your lodge for check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Lake Manyara to Serengeti

Today navigate around the crater’s rim descending to Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric archaeological sites on Earth. It was here in the 1950’s that Louis and Mary Leakey first discovered the fossilized teeth and skull of one of our early. After a museum visit and on-site interpretation, continue to Tanzania’s most renowned national park, the Serengeti. Home to the greatest concentration of large mammals on Earth, the migratory herds of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle roam widely in search of green grass and water. Meals and overnight overlooking the Serengeti savannah.

Day 4 Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will go on an amazing game drive through the great Serengeti where you will see the “big five” in their natural habitat and -- if you’re lucky -- a hunt and a kill. You will be brought back for lunch to the lodge or you may opt for a picnic lunch within the park. After lunch, you will go on another game drive through a different part of the Serengeti so you can really take in what this piece of wild Africa has to offer. After both AM and PM game drives, you will be tired and dusty so a well-deserved shower and an amazing dinner with night festivities at the hotel will await you.

Day 5 Serengeti to Ngorongoro conservation area

After breakfast, travel back south to the Ngorongoro Crater, the Earth’s largest unbroken caldera and one of the wonders of our world. Wildly called a “Garden of Eden” the Crater contains the highest density of carnivores, which includes Cheetah, Leopard, and Lion. This is the only place in East Africa where one can easily observe a natural population of black rhino. Enjoy a full day spent in the crater with picnic lunch. Check into the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha to Zanzibar

After breakfast you will start the journey back to Arusha for a goodbye lunch in town. After lunch we will transfer you to JRO (Kilimanjaro international airport) for your internal flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival in Zanzibar you will be transferred to the hotel on the North East Coast of the Island.

Day 7 The Island of Zanzibar

Today enjoy the white sandy beach for miles and take in this beautiful island. You have the option to take a tour in Stone Town (45 mins way) and we can arrange that at an additional cost. We can also arrange a tour of Prison island to see the giant turtles.

Day 8 The Island of Zanzibar

After breakfast depending on your international flight back home we will transfer you to Zanzibar airport for flight to Dar es Salaam airport for international departure.
