This journey to the breathtaking city of Zanzibar shall take you through beautiful scenery of nature. Immerse yourself in sightseeing and visiting one of the remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colubus monkeys. Have the opportunity as well to visit the old Stone Town, the heart of Zanzibar’s vivacious history, and go on a unique tour wherein the focus is seeing spices that are actually grown on plantations around the area.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL DAY

Arrival at the Abeid Amani Karume International Airport then transfer to Stone Town. Accommodation at Serena Hotel or similar hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 2: CITY TOUR AND SPICE TOUR

After breakfast, you will be picked up for the city tour. This guided walking tour commences with a visit to Zanzibar’s colorful market. The tour will take you through the narrow streets of the old Stone Town, the heart of Zanzibar’s vivacious history, with plenty of time for shopping.

By early afternoon, the spice tour will commence and it is a wonderful opportunity to see spices like cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, nutmeg, turmeric root, which are actually growing in the plantations. Then, you will visit some ruins built by famous past sultans of Zanzibar. Overnight at Serena Hotel or similar hotel on bed and breakfast basis.

DAY 3: JOZANI FOREST

Transfer to East Coast via Jozani Forest, one of the remaining sanctuaries in the world of the red colubus monkeys, where you can take pictures in their mangrove surroundings. Overnight stay at Breezes Beach Club or similar hotel on half-board basis.

DAY 4: UZI ISLAND

Take a trip to Uzi Island to have a picnic. The guide will also take you to see a typical traditional life of Zanzibari villagers in a semi-island. Lunch and soft drinks are included. You will spend the night at Breezes Beach Club.

DAY 5: FREE DAY ON THE BEACH

You will have the full day to relax on the beach at Breezes Beach Club or similar hotel on half-board basis.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE

You will be picked up from your hotel and be transferred to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport.
