also go for a two hour boat cruise down the Kazinga
Channel in Queen Elizabeth. The cruise takes you through
the highest population of Hippos and you will see a

Day 1 Arrival at
Entebbe International Airport
You will be received at Entebbe Airport by our staff when you arrive. We will have a poster with your name on it so that you can easily identify our team. We will drive out of the airport through Entebbe town toward Kampala, Uganda's capital city. Check in, relax and prepare for the the next day's road trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Day 2 Kampala to
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your Driver-guide
will pick you at the hotel at 8:00 hours and start the
road trip Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will
make our first stop at the Equator crossing. It’s a
wonderful spot to take experimental pictures and have a
cup of coffee. We will then proceed to Mbarara for lunch
at Igongo Cultural Center in Mbarara. After lunch, we
will drive through the virgin rolling hills of Ankole
-Kigezi to the home of the infamous Mountain Gorillas,
Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving at around 6
pm. Overnight at Broadbill Forest Camp ( Budget).
Day 3 Gorilla
Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early
breakfast, you will head to the Headquarters of Bwindi
Impenetrable Forest National Park for an orientation
plus meeting the guides as well as separation into the
groups basing on which gorilla group you are to be
tracking. From there you will set off for your thrilling
experience of the Gorillas. Hiking within this
mysterious and wonderful forest offers quite a lot to
see as you make your way to see the Mountain Gorillas.
Look out for additional primates, butterflies, mammals
and birds. The trekking will entail thorough climbing
before you come face to face with the Mountain Gorillas,
watching them only a few meters away. You will see the
baby with the mothers, the gorillas partaking their
every day routine just right in front of you. Overnight
at Broadbill Forest Camp.
Day 4 Transfer to
Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will have an
early breakfast and then travel to Queen Elizabeth
National Park entering it through the Ishasha sector
renowned for the tree climbing lions. You will have a
game drive along the way during which you will see
Lions, various Antelope species, Elephants, zebras,
Hyenas, Leopards and Buffaloes.
In the afternoon,
you will go for a two hour boat cruise down the Kazinga
Channel that connects Lakes George and Edward. The
cruise takes you through the highest population of
Hippos and you will see a profusion of animals on the
water shores. This launch cruise rewards you with a
great opportunity to take photos, watch birds and see
the water animals. Overnight at Twin Lake Safari Lodge.
Day 5 Queen
Elizabeth National Park Tour
After an early
morning breakfast, you will go to track chimpanzees in
Kyambura Gorge. This will give you an opportunity to see
Chimpanzees, learn about them and compare their lives
with the Gorillas you met in Bwindi.
You will will
return to the lodge and relax. You will for another Game
Drive on the Kasenyi Track, viewing a large fishing area
after lunch. The Game Drive will take 2-4 hours. You
will also tour Kikorongo, where you will encounter both
wet and dry Crater Lakes.
If you still have
time, you also visit the Katwe Explosion Crater. It is
believed that this significant feature came into
existence as a result of violent eruptions that took
place approximately 8000 – 10,000 years ago. We will
take an extremely rewarding 27 km crater drive to Katwe
that will offer you a remarkable memory of your safari
in Uganda. Overnight at Twin Lake Safari Lodge.
Day 6 Queen
Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe
After breakfast,
you will drive back to Entebbe with a stopover for lunch
in Mbarara town and proceed arriving late afternoon.
Drop off at your hotel in Kampala or Entebbe in time for
your flight.
